Johnston’s corporate success can be attributed to many factors, including numerous fruitful partnerships and alliances. One of the strongest is the three-generation association with the O’Leary family, which has been significant to the business for nearly a century.

Our winemakers are Geoff Johnston and David O’Leary. Geoff is responsible for Shiraz and Merlot, and David, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir - and perhaps, one day, a Johnston Sparkling!

Geoff and David keep a watchful eye over the vineyard management year round, but especially as the fruit approaches ripeness. From grape to finished product, the wines are in their individual care, subject to the overall direction of Johnston Wines.
